Mock Cable Rib Stitch Prayer Shawl

This pattern by Louis Chicquette is easy and fun to knit. It is the second of his prayer shawl designs I have knit with many more yet to attempt.

Swirled Ski Cap

I knit this cap for my granddaughter; I hope she likes it!

The pattern, Swirled Ski Cap,  is from Caps for Kids.

I used Lion Brand's Caribbean, Tweed Stripes yarn and a size 6 needle.  This hat was quick, easy and fun to make. I think it will go well with her new down jacket.

That Chocolate's Gone Straight to Your Ribs Hat

Winter is here and time to keep hubby's warm.

This was an easy pattern to knit. I used Fisherman's wool and a size two needle to achieve the gauge. Jim likes longer hats so I knit two inches longer than the pattern suggested. He is very happy with the fit, and I am happy that he likes it.

Happy Birthday, Jay!

Jay is wearing the scarf I knit him for his birthday; and he loves it!

I used alpaca for the scarf. CO 64 stitches and knit 2x2 ribbing until I ran out of yarn.

He is also wearing a sweater and a hat that I knit for him.
He is all decked out in my knits!

The sweater was a 2012 Christmas gift. I

 enjoyed knitting this sweater, the pattern was very easy to follow and knit up quickly.

I am not certain, but if it is one of my hats, I believe it is a  "turn a square" hat by Jared Flood. The pattern is also free on Revelry.

Sleeveheart Half Pi Shawl

This is the second Sleevheart I have knitted. The first I ended with a knitted picot edge, but this one I followed the pattern precisely! 

The pattern was designed by Alyssa McFarland and is free on Ravelry  I knit this shawl with Naturally Caron Country yarn in the color, Coral Lipstick. It took just about two skeins to knit.  

When it is dry I will take a few pictures on a manikin.
